Jan recently undertook a 3-month project with Qudos Bank Arena (QBA) Vaccination Hub, playing a key role in the area of Workflow (On boarding) and HR.
Jan worked closely with Clinical and non-Clinical staff from Western Sydney Local Health District to help vaccinate approximately 360,000 people from 9 August until QBA closed on 7 November.
In reaching this target Jan worked with an incredible array of HR, Project specialists and Health professionals responsible for on-boarding hundreds of pharmacy, nurses, vaccination, and administration workers to deliver the outcomes that allowed the people of NSW to gain freedoms from the restrictions imposed.
Here are some interesting statistics:
QBA has completed 56.7% of all doses completed by WSLHD
Our busiest week was 23 to 29 Aug, where we administered 75,170 doses
Our busiest weekend was 28 to 29 Aug where we administered 26,836 doses
And our biggest day was 28 Aug where we administered 14,934!
Finally – our biggest hour was between 11am to 12pm on 28 Aug where we vaccinated 1,564 people, with 90 vaccinators, equaling 26 doses per minute – 1 every 2.3 seconds!
On returning, Jan mentioned that “It was a privilege to be a part of such a worthwhile project making a significant impact on Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) to increase numbers of vaccinated people in NSW. Meeting new people and working with likeminded colleagues to deliver this result was an experience I will not forget in a long time”.
Also, during this period Jan worked tirelessly to not only ensure she met her obligations with QBA but continued to attend to SCHR clients, with the support and expertise of the SCHR team of HR Advisors and Consultants.
Again, welcome back Jan. We know that your commitment to SCHR clients knows no boundaries and you are always there to assist both internally and externally.
